On Saturday 3 March 2012 Sheffield will come ‘Alight’ with a myriad of music, dance and visual arts events throughout the day.   The Endcliffe Orchestra will perform at the City Hall for this finale of the Cultural Olympiad.

Chamber Music Weekend

The Endcliffe Orchestra ran its Second Amateur Chamber Music Weekend in conjunction with Music in the Round which took place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October 2007 at Greystones Primary School, Hunters Bar Sheffield.

Development Programme

The Endcliffe Orchestra operates as a development ensemble with the objective of helping enthusiastic amateurs to return to orchestral music making or providing members with their first experience of playing in a large ensemble.

In addition to the day-to-day activities of organising rehearsals and concerts, the committee, working closely with the conductor, plans a programme of varied events that provide insights for members into the skills and experiences of orchestral music making.
