Past Concerts
The Endcliffe Orchestra performs two or three concerts per season, some informal (usually for family and friends) and others formal.
For most of our formal concerts we raise money for a local charity, with all profits from the event (after paying for advertising and promotion costs, venue hire and other fees) being donated. Recent selected charities have included the Weston Park Hospital, The Cavendish Centre for Cancer Care, HARC (Homeless and Roofless at Christmas) and ASSIST (Asylum Seekers Support Initiative - Short Term).
We often invite other local musical ensembles to join us in our concerts. Recent guests have included The Lydian Singers, The Eglantine Recorder Consort and The Muskoka Wind Quintet. Recent performances with soloists have included Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" (with Wendy Allbutt on piano) and Kabalevsky's violin concerto (with Ingrid Clement).
In this section you will find details of the programmes for concerts performed by the Endcliffe Orchestra from 1998 until the present date - please select the concert dates from the links on the left side of this page. Details of the current season of concerts is also available.
