Winter Concert, December 2005
The orchestra performed an informal Christmas concert on 19th December 2005. The orchestra was conducted by Martin Lightowler. Works performed were:

'The Hebrides' Overture Op.26 (Fingal's Cave) by Felix Mendelssohn.

Symphony No. 9 ("From the New World") by Antonin Dvořák.
The concert was dedicated to the memory of our friend and violinist, Liz Butters a long-standing member of the Endcliffe Orchestra who died recently .
Proceeds from this performance were shared equally between Leonard Cheshire Services in Sheffield and Endcliffe Orchestra funds.
Leonard Cheshire exists to change attitudes to disability and to serve disabled people around the world. It has been supporting disabled people for almost 60 years and is active in 55 countries.
Mickley Hall in Totley is one of 19 services run by Leonard Cheshire in the North East and Yorkshire region. Forty people live at Mickley Hall, a registered nursing home, where Leonard Cheshire supports people with severe physical disabilities of all ages.
