I am doing a Music course at University of Sheffield, but am quite held back by difficulty in using the notation software I have – Finale Notepad.

This is a pretty basic notation system, but adequate for my needs at present – but I still can’t fathom out how to use it properly!!  Is anyone familiar with this package?  And could spare some time to give me a tutorial or two??

Any advice welcome.  Sibelius, Capella etc may be better, but Finale should suit my purpose if I can get it sorted.

Lewis.
